We’re excited to welcome Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi to our CS:GO roster.
The first of two players we can announce to finalize our roster is Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi. He’ll be joining us on a transfer from Team Singularity effective immediately.
Nico has already played a few games with our squad in Elgiganten Ligaen, but the team hasn’t been able to practice yet due to the incomplete nature of the roster.
Director of esport, Daniel Vorborg, said the following on the addition of Nico:
“I am very pleased to have secured Nico as our new AWP, as he was our clear first priority. His raw aim and skill is easy to spot and I’m confident we’ve found a player that in time can live up to the legacy of players like farlig.
The fact that he took up in-game leading in Singularity – despite his lack of experience – shows a lot about the type of person Nico is. He will do whatever it takes for the team and he is not afraid of taking responsibility and learning by doing.
However, he is still very inexperienced, and while he has a great potential I expect it to take a while before we fully see what he is capable of. We are trying to add some experience to our roster in the in-game leader position, for there to be less of a burden on Nico’s shoulders, and for him to fully focus on his own development.
When Singularity signed Nico, I thought to myself “Did we miss an opportunity to get the next big star here?”. We were also very pleased with mertz on our roster, but one of the reasons we were okay to let him go was definitely because we knew Nico would then be a very suitable replacement for us.”
