Welcome Back AcilioN

We’re excited to welcome Asger “AcilioN” Larsen back to Copenhagen Flames’ CS:GO roster.

Our roster is yet again comple with the return of Asger “AcilioN” Larsen, who will be taking on the mantle as the teams in-game leader. Asger joined in August 2019 and led the team to top 30 within just five months, resulting in him being sold to Mad Lions.

Our director of esport, Daniel Vorborg, said the following on the return of Asger:

“I am very pleased to announce the return of such a talented leader as Asger. We know him very well from his last stay here, and even though we only had him for six months he had a tremendous impact on our journey in CS:GO.

Both Asger and I value having a good working relationship between management and in-game leader extremely high. The main reason why this transfer was possible is definitely in part due to the two of us knowing exactly what we will be able to get out of each other.

He fits well into our goals, visions, values, and the community that we would like to build in and around our club.

This move should definitely be seen as our first step towards wanting more. We want Copenhagen Flames to be a consistent factor in international CS:GO and I believe our investment in Asger shows that.

When you have a player like Asger; placing in the top 30 is not just something we hope for – it’s a must.

This is something everyone in our team has agreed to, and we will be holding ourselves and each other to the standards required to reach that goal. There is a lot of talent in our current roster, but potential is not enough in the long run, and we will have to work hard to fulfill that potential in each of our players.

Overall I am very happy with the outcome of this shuffle for us. We’ve sold players for a higher amount than we’ve bought for and I’m confident that we have a stronger and more competitive roster now, than we did before.”
