Flames x Red Bull

The extensive work with talent that has made Copenhagen Flames a phenomenon within Counter-Strike has now secured them a strong partner in the journey back to Top 30 in the world. Through the partnership with Red Bull; Copenhagen Flames wants to join the fight in the top where the real fun is!

Copenhagen Flames and Red Bull have been working together through a number of years on various esports projects like Red Bull Flick and Red Bull Solo Q. Now the parties are joining forces in an even closer partnership between Red Bull and the Copenhagen Flames CS:GO roster.

CS:GO is one of the biggest esports-titles in the world, and Denmark is one of the countries with the strongest representation within the scene. Copenhagen Flames is among the best Danish teams and recently re-entered the top 30 in the world. Their innovative approach to (and focus on) talent development is a common characteristic between the two organizations, and also the backbone of this partnership.

“After working together on events and other projects for years, I’m excited that we have agreed with Red Bull to continue our explosive journey in an even closer partnership. Red Bull Denmark has been an inspiration to our own development where we – like Red Bull – seek new paths and opportunities, and create the framework for lifting our level every day. Together; we can move our club to the top shelf, and I look forward to continue building on the strong foundation that we’ve already established.” Steffen Thomsen, CEO, Copenhagen Flames

This is thus not just a sponsorship but a true partnership – where Red Bull and Copenhagen Flames will support each other to reach new heights on the Danish and international esports scene.

Copenhagen Flames is currently ranked #41 in the world but are striving for a more permanent place in the top 30. A goal that, among other things, will be reached through the partnership with Red Bull.
