Good Luck jabbi

Today we say goodbye to Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard, who is moving on in a transfer to Heroic for an undisclosed fee with an additional sell

Jakob has been our longest standing player ever, across all titles. It has amounted to a total of 676 days in the Flames jersey, and we’ve been proud to see his development in the last two years.

Jakob joined our CS:GO roster in 2020 following a rebuild along with a line-up that quickly earned their first spot at a small international LAN. Just barely turned 17 years old, he had noticeable talent and impressed us with his ability to take responsibility. Every time we made changes in the line-up; Jakob was willing and able to be flexible with his roles and continued to grow in each of the roles he had.

After our latest roster fell into place in May last year and we quickly rose in the ranks. In the last year; Jakob has proved himself on LAN and at Majors – a big step from our first international tournament in a LAN café in Stockholm. He has stepped up and proved himself as a crucial component in our success as someone who takes responsibility and communicates enough for two. With success comes hard times and over the last 2 years we’ve seen Jakob develop an innate ability to pick himself up after a tough map. Off the server, his strong personality and sense of humour has made an impression on all of us, and we both envy his new teammates and wish them good luck. 😉

In the last 676 days, Jakob has grown from a promising young talent to a confident tier 1 Counter-Strike player. He’s worked hard for his spot on a tier 1 team and he’s earned the move he makes today.

We’re very proud of his growth and look forward to watching his career unfold from here. Good luck, Jakob, and thank you for everything.
