After saying goodbye to our professional Fortnite players at the tail-end of 2022; we wanted to give an update to where we stand on the competitive Fortnite scene.  

We’ve been part of the Fortnite esports scene since 2018, and a big part of our identity has been built through our Path to Pro concept, where we’ve brought several players all the way from our open Fortnite classes through the academy to be signed as professional players. 

As we have followed the development of the scene, we currently do not see a viable way to stay committed to professional Fortnite in the way that we have been before. 

Does that mean that Flames Fortnite is no more? Absolutely not! We are continuing our work with the community that we’ve built, and remain committed to our work with talent development to find the next generation of Fortnite esports pros. The Path to Pro is still open through our academy.

We will continue to monitor the progress of the Fortnite esports scene and if we in time see a viable way to make our way back, we will.
