CS:GO Roster Update
Daniel Vorborg, Director of Esports and CS:GO coach.
We have decided to bench both Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and Mads “Console” Skovby from the starting lineup of our male CS:GO roster.
Throughout the last 7 months we haven’t been able to perform at the level everyone in and around the team expects us to. When our summer break started; we evaluated with every player on the team to pinpoint the biggest reasons for our lack of results. The conclusion from those conversations was that it is in the best interest of the team to make some changes.
We’ve been happy with HooXi and Console and are sad to see them go. HooXi has been a part of our CS:GO lineup since the beginning and has been a huge factor in getting the team to the level we did. He was one of the hardest working players on the team and we have never been able to fault his commitment. Sadly; we felt we needed more experience in the lineup and stronger voices – especially in mid-round scenarios – and because of that a change has been made.
Console added a lot of experience outside the server and increased our efficiency in team discussion and planning. He was an essential part of the team off the server; but to have the best chances moving forward, we feel the need of a different type of player on the server.
Both players are still contracted for now but are free to discuss options with other teams and leave their contracts if another offer comes along. We wish them both the best moving forward.
Our new players will be revealed within a couple of days as we look forward to competing in the ECS qualifiers.
